About Us
Tokuplex was founded in Summer of 2005 with the goal of subtitling great tokusatsu (roughly meaning "Special Effects" in Japanese) programming both old and new into English. Specifically, those of the Japanese super hero genre that have entertained Japanese children and adults alike for generations including incarnations of Ultraman, Kamen Rider ("Masked Rider"), Super Sentai ("Super Task Force"), Metal Heroes, etc. Sporting a small staff and a slow but steady chain of releases, Tokuplex continues to contribute in it's own way to the tokusatsu fan community and is always striving to do more.
