The HZGG Team
The ‘HZGG’ in our title is the abbreviation for the classic drama, Huan Zhu Ge Ge (English: Returning Pearl Princess, Princess Pearl, My Fair Princess), and it also stands for what we do: subbing HZGG!
The HZGG Team was formed when Sandy decided that this old drama should be revived for the common good of all relatively new Asian drama watchers. Strangely enough, HZGG, for all its immense popularity, has never been subbed.
HZGG is a fairytale story of a commoner girl who, through a mistaken identity, becomes a princess at the Forbidden City during the Qing dynasty. Adventures abound as she cheeks the Emperor, becomes sworn enemies with the Empress, befriends the Fifth Prince, defies decorum, and drags all her friends into mischief and merry-making. HZGG is truly a world in its own right, and the HZGG Team is committed to subbing it for the enjoyment of all drama fans!
